This
all-wheel position, all steel radial tire is designed for
front axle applications on long-haul operations. The new side
differential groove (SDG) controls the growth of irregular
wear. The multi pitch tread grooves provide resistance to
both river wear, which may develop due to the slip force on
the rib edge during driving, as well as providing the progressive
appearance of a zigzag shape to the rib. This developing zigzag
shape maintains the traction performance throughout the life
of the tread. The new DSOC designed casing profile further
improves Toyo's already excellent durability and retreadability.
The new stone ejector platform (SEP) design in the tread grooves
reduces the incidence of stone trapping and this feature coupled
with the 4 steel belt casing construction also contribute
to reducing casing damage and improving removal life mileage.
The tire is a 5 rib/4 groove design with a premium tread depth
of 19/32".
