The TOYO Versado LX is a unique Asymmetrical
design that will meet your vehicle’s performance requirements with speed ratings
and construction technology ranging from “T” to “W”.
TREAD DESIGN TECHNOLOGY
“ASYMMETRICAL” - By definition it means “not regularly arranged
on opposite sides of a line or around a central point”. In tire terminology
it means efficiency. Both sides of the tread design are different each being
designed to do a specific job. Using race tire technology Toyo has been able
to ensure the tread design of the Versado LX from the outside shoulder to the
inside shoulder is optimized to maximize the handling and breaking capabilities
of your vehicle. And the beauty of the asymmetrical design is the ease of rotations.
More frequent rotations will promote even tread wear resulting in less road
noise, less vibration … more comfort!

Large stable outside shoulder blocks
- The outside shoulder features massive tread blocks with Multiwave sipes to
help stabilize the block for precise crisp handling and less irregular wear. |

Outside inner block
- Specially designed elongated block for added cornering traction and highway

Centre transition block
- Increasing the sipe density and incorporating a sharp edge design gives added
all season bite.
- The center tread blocks are bridged together at key points giving increased

Mediate and inside shoulder
blocks
- Independent blocks with full depth multi wave sipes improve the wear shape
and also increase traction for the life of the tread. |

Four wide circumferential
grooves
- These extra wide grooves provide effective water drainage
to reduce hydroplaning for better road grip.
- A “silent wall” technology incorporating vertical serrations
in the groove walls disrupts the airflow to minimize tire “resonance” noise. |

Multiwave sipes
- Toyo multi wave sipe technology improves tread block stability by reducing
movement. This increases traction and tread life while reducing irregular
wear and road noise. |

Sipes
improve wet traction, but they also reduce tread block
rigidity. Rigid tread blocks are desirable for better dry
handling. TOYO has overcome this inherent design compromise
with its new proprietary “Multi-Wave” sipe
technology. This design provides tread block support from the
sipe walls which reduces excessive deformation while cornering
or braking. Excessive tread block deformation is also what
leads to the “heel and toe” wear that causes increased
pattern noise as a tire wears. Therefore the “Multi-Wave” sipe
design also helps reduce tire noise. |

ALL SEASON PERFORMANCE - Silica Compound
- Silica tread compounds “mold” to road surface for
better traction especially on wet surfaces. (Silica in H/V/W speed
rated tires).
