What is not covered by the Policy

Non Adjustable Conditions

  • Tires branded NA (Non adjustable).
  • Tires that are damaged due to road hazards
    (for example: Cuts, Snags, stone damage or drilling, bruise impacts or puncture)
  • Tires that have failed due to improper repair procedures or have failed due to a repair.
  • Tires damaged from mis-alignment, improper inflation, overloading, wheel imbalance, collision, vandalism or defective vehicle components (for example; brakes, shocks, rims).
  • Tire failure caused by exceeding the maximum speed for a particular tire. For deterring proper speed application consult your Toyo truck tire dealer).
  • Highways tires on vehicles that are operated in off highway service.
  • Tires that have been modified or damaged by the introduction of sealants or balance substances.
  • Irregular tread wear due mechanical or poor maintenance conditions.
  • Tires that have the TIN or re-treaders DOT # removed or rendered illegible.
  • Tires that have been previously adjusted.
  • Tires submitted for ride complaints that are worn beyond the first 10% of tread wear.
  • Toyo brand truck tires or casings imported into Canada by sources other than Toyo Tire Can.
  • Tires for mileage complaints
  • Tires that have failed due to improper retread procedures (as defined by the retread manufacturer's recommendations), improper or careless inspection and casing preparation procedures.
  • Damage caused by the use of an improper inner tube. Radial tires require radial tubes or tube failure will result.
  • Tires worn beyond recommended wear limits prior to removal for re-treading. For example:- Tires used only on paved roads = 2/32"(1.6mm) Tires used in off paved road operations = 4/32" (3.2mm).
