Recommended Maintenance Procedures

  • Check inflation pressure on all tires at least once a month when tires are cold. Tires are considered "cold" after the vehicle `has been stopped for three (3) hours or has not been for more than 1.6 km.
  • Do not reduce pressures when tires are hot.
  • Use an accurate tire pressure gauge and maintain the tire pressures to the level recommended by the vehicle manufacturer.
  • Should a tire loose pressure have it checked immediately by a qualified tire technician.
  • Do not overload or over inflate your tires. The MAXIMUM load capacity and MAXIMUM air pressure are marked on the sidewall of the tire. Never exceed these limits.
  • Wheel alignment and wheel balance are important for safety and achieving maximum performance from your tires.
  • Check how your tires are wearing at least once a month. Should unusual wear be evident consult your vehicle or tire technician immediately and have corrective action taken.
