Maintenance Procedures
Check
inflation pressure on all tires at least once a month when
tires are cold. Tires are considered "cold" after
the vehicle `has been stopped for three (3) hours or has
not been for more than 1.6 km.
Do
not reduce pressures when tires are hot.
Use
an accurate tire pressure gauge and maintain the tire pressures
to the level recommended by the vehicle manufacturer.
Should
a tire loose pressure have it checked immediately by a qualified
tire technician.
Do
not overload or over inflate your tires. The MAXIMUM load
capacity and MAXIMUM air pressure are marked on the sidewall
of the tire. Never exceed these limits.
Wheel
alignment and wheel balance are important for safety and
achieving maximum performance from your tires.
Check
how your tires are wearing at least once a month. Should
unusual wear be evident consult your vehicle or tire technician
immediately and have corrective action taken.
