For
tires designated as "LT"
It is not recommended that any light truck be operated at
speeds in excess of legal limits. However since the modifications
to certain State speed limits in the USA if you anticipate
driving at sustained speeds in excess of 106 km/h (65 mph)
the following criteria should be taken into account
a)
At speeds up to 120 km/h (75 mph) cold inflation pressure
MUST be increased by 10 psi above the recommended FOR
THE LOAD BEING CARRIED. Do not exceed the maximum inflation
pressure for the wheel/rim (all wheels/rims have a maximum
allowable inflation pressure).
b)
Non speed rated "LT' designated tires should not be
operated at speeds in excess of 140 km/h (85 mph).
For
tires designated as "P Metric"
The maximum load capacity stamped on the sidewall
of "P"
metric tires is reduced by 10% when used on a light truck.
sport utility vehicle or trailer.
